    Owners Manual

    My question today is.
What is the correct/original owners manual zippered pouch? I have two, one has Mercury and the Mercury emblem embroidered on the front in white thread. And the other is just the Mercury emblem embroidered in red thread. The help is much appreciated.

Mine has white thread, with both the emblem and text.

I guess I ought to check the other car...

The answer is that both the red and the white versions are correct. CAM members first noticed this difference back in July 2006 at the Kentmoor meet on the Chesapeake Bay. Distribution of the red vs. the white thread pouches appears to have been random since it didn't track the 300A and 300B division or the 2003 to 2004 changeover. Some were red and some were white and we never did figure out why. BTW -- Mine is white thread/embroidery.... Blue MM, 2003, 300B, Build Date 10 January 2003.

Get somebody to make a custom one with a gods head and I'll bet they could sell a bunch of them.

They all came with either a red or white Mercury Logo. It would be interesting if someone did make a custom Godshead Logo one.
