    51 years and counting

This month, my 64 Galaxie and I reached the "51 years of ownership" mark. Purchase price in 1969: $750; 46, 819 miles.

We have not aged a bit.

    Very cool!
You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard

Started out as a Gal 500, but over the years, I converted her to a 500XL.

Second trans, 3rd motor, orig 352/2504v, used 352/250//4v; rebuilt 390/300/4v; roughly 220,000 miles today.

Except for the VIN, there is nothing on the car that isn't from an XL from the front fender/rear quarter moldings, hubcaps, buckets, console, even the horn rim and glove box molding.
