Sell it and buy a MM, prices have dropped, it would be cheaper to replace the car, That is unless you HAVE to have a sleeper Vic.

yeah i kinda wanted to have a sleeper and its paid for. i want to somethings little by little. my real idea is a turbo system and tub the rear out with big tires just to do something different. i think i would turn heads and still will be able to take the family with me. more for looks than for speed. but power would be there just in case i needed milk at the last min. lol.
guy at my job has a 02 vic and swares he has a chip and will smoke me.lol

You're gonna have $15,000 into a $2,500 car. Then if something happens to it - you're out the whole "investment".

Swap out your engine for a 4 valve one, or at least upgrade your engine to the newer PI heads.
Color Matched Surround, Shaved Emblem Grill , w/blacked out center, Decklid Spoiler, Tinted Taillights, Tinted Windows, Aviator TB, Ported Plenum, MM Air Box, MAF, '04 PI Zip Tube, 18" Chrome Bullitts w/ SVT Center Caps, SVT Decklid Emblem, HD Stereo, Pioneer 6x8 3-way speakers, Dyno Tuned by myself @ WyoTech, Custom Dual Exhaust w/4" delete tips, Custom Mercury Rear Emblem, Mach 1 Chin Spoiler, Baer Brakes, Marauder Gauge cluster.
Yeah, he's lying.... I ad a chip on my '02, along wit Marauder MAF, airbox and a PI zip tube. Dual exhaust w/o cats and H-pipe, and 3:73 posi in the rear. With all that I was turning time slips in the 15.0's and 14.9's.... stock MM numbers. So a stock 2V with just a chip won't come close to spanking a Marauder.

This is the best quote in this thread. I doubt you can do it for 15k with what your want list is. Buy a Marauder and you still have a great sleeper! I have done a lot of your ideas and it cost much more than your projections. Check the Michigan forum and look for the SC Grand Marquis threads for ideas.

Yeah when it comes down to it, buying a Marauder is the best option otherwise you will dump a lot of money into the CV.
If you are hell bent on modding it then I would suggest
PI head swap
High flow intake
Tune (which will require you to start running 93 octane)
maybe 3000 stall torque converter
3.73 gears
A good site that sells CV stuff is http://adtr.net/

If you bought a Marauder, that would be something different! I am always getting looks and compliments everywhere I go!
Marauderless....
I have a 98 cv, Put a 04 marauder engine in, made my own program...322 hp shifts at 6300 rpms. turned 1431 in the 1/4. Now just picked up two turbos and getting ready to make the turbo headers..I will soon be pushing over 520 hp in a 98 vic....Dont let anyone tell you it cant be done....Im into 4000.00 total in upgrades and still going...Not many car gonna keep up for that price ...not even a MM...LOL
