    Skid plate

I should be getting my skid plate pretty soon from http://www.joecoon.com/index.htm and am looking forward to installing it. Not that I plan on doing any off-roading with my Marauder, but I think it will protect the rear bumper cover from tearing away in case it gets caught up on anything, and also cover up that huge space back there. That can't be very good for the aerodynamics!
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Great idea.

I put 40,000 miles on a 2000 CV PI. Turning around in medians and other rough driving did my bumper in. My department never did replace it and I transferred to doing Investigations so I'm not in a CV anymore.

Great idea for the Marauder though.

Gonna have to pick one of these up after I get a Maruder.

Just over a week and counting.

Just ordered my rear $35 list and the front $90 list from www.pro-gard.com I paid $114 shipped from an authorized pro-gard dealer in Georgia. Will give an update when they arrive and I install them. The front is steel and the rear is plastic. Is your rear shield plastic or steel?

    Skid plate

The one I've ordered is made of plastic. Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polymer Plastic.
You mentioned a front skid plate...does this fit into the huge dead space forward of the driver side front wheel?

Part numbers for front and rear? I really like the Pro-Gard product line, and those skid plates sound like a really good idea, especially for how low my Marauder is now. Let us know how they work out . . . and try to post some pictures after, if ya have a chance!!! Thanks!
