    Rebuilding Joes wrecked DTR

I purchased guspech750 Joe's Wrecked DTR April 22 2019 and am slowly getting the car back together.

As most of you know the DTR was damaged in the front and the rear axle did not sit straight in the car anymore.
The main tub of the body did not receive any damage, so a frame swap and front cradle is going to be the easiest for me.

The donor car was a 2006 CV P71 , it was not wrecked, no previous repairs to the frame and its relatively rust free.

$247.18 for the complete frame and front aluminum suspension chunk.

Let the fun begin! More photos at the bottom hyperlink

You have your work cut out for you. Good luck and call or text me if need something......like a peep talk, that's a big job in front of you. Don't get frustrated and give up on it. I'd love to see that car going again.

How about a before and after pictures. Get one of you in the driver's seat now and one when you're done.

It was an honor to have
    my ASS kicked by you!

The above is a fact, it takes a good amount of time and a lot of space to do a frame swap, I’ve done half a dozen or so, each one was a learning experience, good luck, don’t lose the faith and keep us posted on progress.

With all the decisions you've made in your life, are there any you'd change?

Oh, yeah. Many. But, luckily, this is the way it is. We have to accept our condition as human beings to be vulnerable to the fates, to weakness, to insecurity, and these all create the elements for the challenge you are facing every day and that you are trying to overcome. This is why, when we finally succeed in doing something, in spite of all the difficulties, it's a great reward. A great personal satisfaction. - Alex Zanardi

You guys obviously don't know BW. He has brought many a car back to life. I am just glad to see he is motivated on a project again. Full steam ahead.

Lou. Here is a picture of him sitting in my 303k mile DTR hopefully his result is better than mine but I hope he has the same grin when he is done with his.
