    Ford radio removal tool set.

    Need a Ford OEM Ford radio removal tool set. I think the part #URT-460 or the likes. NOT THE PLASTIC, the real stuff (steel).

    i just use a metal coat hanger and make my own as needed...it's easier that way ..make to 6in horse shoe install in hole push out twards the doors and pull out ....tada ford radio removal tool and there freeeee

    i just used a welding rod. cut into 4 pieces and pulled leike hell. worked for me

    If you hit the catches correctly, it would fall out of the dash if you tipped the car up. It should come out effortlessly.

    I heard that you could use 4 nails.
    (#6178 in black per FPIC)
    Call 1-800-FORD-788 and press "1". Have the last 6 of your VIN handy. You will get the numbers for FREE. You'll pay $$$ for the certificate.

    MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

    Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

    Yes 4x 6d finish nails. They are kinda too short and a pain to retrieve after the deck comes out.

    3 out of 4 were easy i sort of missed the lower left and i wasnt sure how it really worked so i just had to keep messing with it.

    That's exactly what the little bumps on the ends of the true removal tools are for... So you can feel it when they 'catch'.
