We've done it before. Let's do it again.

Let me tell you about Ed.

He made 3 trips from Ft. Lauderdale to Ft. Pierce (2hrs) for FREE to help install a supercharger.
He made a trip from Ft. Lauderdale to Vero and pulled his best friend's wrecked Marauder out on the way to help install my supercharger 'til 1AM - again FREE.
He stood by ALL DAY for a dyno session and took my better half to lunch, since I couldn't leave.
He helped on PC#25 - free.
He's raising a family - a family he took on.
He's DONATED over 100 pieces of his work to raffles and events.
He works his arse off and would give the shirt off his back.

I don't think there's an SSM member south of Orlando Ed hasn't done something for.

Let's help him out.

What a great idea Rich. I could see the sadness in his eyes this past Friday at the tower shops. I'm in for $100.00 too! Ed is one of the best guys in our group. I will send out a check tomorrow.

Until then, I will NOT donate a dime to a doomed 'Band-Aid' Project.

I will not give money for a Band-Aid. The situation will re-occur in not-to-long. A T-Trim on a STOCK MARAUDER ENGINE is not a good idea, IMO. And repairing a 130K motor w/ a new piston and rings is a waste of MY money.

While I understand and agree with both of you, this is more of a 'get the bread winner to work' than progress on mods. However, with all this help, it could be BOTH!!! Please reconsider for a few $$$.

As for the rest of you. I can't keep up with the replies, but believe me, I WILL catch up.

I'm getting chills and tearing up a little at the dedication of the folks on this site. Even Zack and Steve with their point of view are showing they care.

In that case, we are about 15% there.

Help me out here with the math:
New Aluminator 4256
less 800 for the heads = 3456 (is that money realistic at 130K?)
less 600 bucks or so here do far = 2856
less yours and Steve's would-be contributions = ??
less what else can he sell - realistically = ??

Perhaps if we can get this math right, the aluminator could be a REAL possibility.

Zack, I know you are doing research to help and I know where you are coming from - even if no one else does. In that spirit, help me out with this math.
