Got a SCT SF3 yesterday, and Magnaflow mufflers, (Still in the boxes) and today I went to get a couple of 255/55/18 Nitto Motivos. Unfortunately, they only had one, but the other one will be here Monday. I have to drive the MM as a DD, till I get another DD. My Hankook tires don't really have to much tread on them. It took me about a week to figure out why I was having such bad traction in the snow, TIRES!

Went to Terry's Auto Supply, ordered my interior paint. It was a toss up between Ford Midnight Black or Dark Graphite.... After asking about 5 different people their opinion, I went with the Dark Graphite.... I hope it matches....

Had the headliner stretched and glued.

Repaired the wiring for the sunroof that was causing issues.

Made a new panel for the overhead console at the sunroof cutoff. The original one was made with cardboard. Freaking cardboard! I made a new one with balsa wood. Found the headliner fabric at Hancock.

Serpentine belt yesterday, 235/50/18 Nitto Motivos for the front, today. I also took out the 140 pounds of kitty litter I had in the trunk. I figured with the new 255/55/18 Motivos I got a couple of weeks ago, that I didn't need them anymore. I was right! Car rides like a dream now. Oh yeah, I learned that the Marauder has a stock "H" pipe on it.

I cleaned the residual glue off my wheels from my 4th an final wheel balance. Thanks for the tip rEgarding goo gone. I had some under the sink!

We used Meguiar's heavy duty series kit (it's not), plus a sheet each of 400,600,1000,2000 & 3000 grit paper.

You can get the paper at an automotive paint supply house.

This is really a good DIY project, just a few hours.

The parts look OK from the pictures. What exactly is wrong with it?

They used a one stage paint to paint everything. When the lens lights up all the black illuminates. Almost like that night shade crap you can buy for like $20.00. And where they filled the key hole is all uprisen. Plus there are imperfections thru out the whole thing. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/22/sehyjere.jpg I paid $300.00 to have this done. It should of been 100% not 62% If I would of wanted a crappy job, I'd of done it myself... But even I would of done everything in a two stage paint. And floated out the key hole better. Also ordered my new bulbs for my lights in front. Stealth bulbs for the turn signals and LED Cree projectors for the turn lamps. Also have some projector fog lamp retrofits in the works...

These D2S 3.0 housings are approved for 55w bulbs from the specific manufacture in use. The H1 projector housings on my Silverado are not.

For years as the switches faded from white lettering to black, I thought it was just wear on the switches.
I recently read a post somewhere on the site and found out it's just scum.

I took a mild rag soaked (not dripping) in my favorite vinyl cleaner under a tooth brush and scrubbed off the scum. I am elated.

Now I can offer the car at Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona and command top bidding.

Since she is now legal again after a four month hiatus I took her out on this 5* sunny day and drifted 1st thru 4th at part throttle while shifting up at only 3,000 RPM's to maintain some sort of control to celebrate.

Took advantage of the sunny skies and temp of 65* to give my baby a nice, long bath, vacuumed the interior, and cleaned up the rims/dressed the tires. Supposed to be the same tomorrow weather-wise, so will spend some time cleaning the up interior/glass. Thoughts of Looseville run through my mind....

Washed it, played under ther hood, installed chrome water pump pulley bolts, messed with my rear emblem.

Updated the trunk lighting. That single festoon bulb wasn't gonna work. Even after converting to LED. Had a cheapie aftermarket LED daytime running light kit from work laying around ( the one with two 6" or so LED strips you can put anywhere) and that did the trick!

I went with stock size Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval AS.

Warmed up the beast, put it up on rack and adjusted the rear ride height.

It was riding a solid inch too low, and didn't have the cool rake forward that most Marauders have (or are supposed to have).

I admit that I accidentally lowered it at first... But that only made the correction more accurate and cool when I redid it.

I then drove it everywhere. It was spotless, so I and cowboyed it all over town!

Next weekend a wash and another wax!

I came from the mechanic that install to BP-74i the Police Driveshaft with a spacer to fit without a longer tranny nose and install two rear aluminum coil boosters "2 now the suspension is more stiffer which is what I want. and soon I will replaace the old civilian front springs with two new NN/NUL police springs and replacement of the OEM shocks for Billsteins HD Police F/R. :burnout:

Installed 03' rear speaker grills in my 04' rear deck cover. Then removed the factory sub and made way for a custom box. Took me forever building it. 11x11x17.5 It will house a single Sundown 10" Now I just need to wait for the amp to arrive. I'm going to start the wiring tomorrow.

Had my primary tensioners (plastic) replaced with the iron ones, chain guides and arms were replaced as well.

Passenger chain guide had ZERO plastic on it, the other guide and arms had fairly minor wear on the plastic compared to the miles on them. Driver plastic tensioner was done, passenger still had plenty of pressure.

Installed window visors on front doors. So sick of water getting in when I leave the windows cracked open for venting.

Meguiars leather conditioner on seats, dash and trim. Better than you would think on the plastic. Non greasy.

Cut out cig lighter and installed oil temp gauge. :beer: Wiring soon. Red bulb covers looks awesome. Trying to decide where to relocate cig lighter.

Ran the power wire for the new amp. I really like the fancy wire shield Ford put in along the sill plates. Made running the amp wire cake!

Installed LEDs in the cluster
Changed the stock head unit out with a mechless unit

Replaced headlight switch bulb to LED

Had to do a quick clean up after all the damn rain the car went through...

Also pulled the headlamps, I completely missed a section to seal up on the lamp! Fixing it as we speak..

She did clean back up nicely!

I took my 2005 lx sport to the collision center to get a estimate for the rear end ...A 90 year old man run into me a few days ago. I am spending some time getting the rest of the car claybared and polished so I can try RejeX on it. The folks on the SRT forums love it and with the lovebug situation here in Florida it's worth a shot. .

Plug and Play to the factory harness for input. However it uses a relay harness that is directly powered from the battery.

I wasn't planning on selling this set however I could if the price was right... PM me if your serious.

20% Tint all around today and swapped out the stock mufflers for Flowmasters last weekend, sounds.....Great!

Had the front suspension components replaced, too much clicking, clacking plus torn boots. Replaced top and bottom control arms with ball joints, sway bar links and stabilizer bar control links and a wheel alignment. Moog parts, cost = prohibitive.

Waxed the Silver with Titanium. Finished everything but the roof, and it started to sprinkle, so I quickly dried it and covered it. When I uncover, I wish wash to roof and wax it... And it will be spotless :)

Was going to wash and wax the black (again)... But it started to sprinkle. Goal is to get them both finished this weekend and then get pics for ya'll...
